About Green Bay Area Retired Men’s Club

Green Bay Retired Men’s Club

Our retired men’s club has been a popular institution in Green Bay since 1972.  Herb Bomolaski, Judge Don Gleason, and Russ Petrest were among the founders of the club that originally met at the downtown YMCA until 1981.  The club now meets at the downtown Brown County Library Auditorium.

Meetings are held at the Library every Tuesday except the last two weeks of the year.   Meeting cancellation occurs when the GBSD cancels school due to weather.   Coffee and rolls are available at 8:30 a.m.  The meetings start promptly at 9:30 a.m. and end promptly at 10:30 a.m.

The club also schedules monthly tours of an area building or business. Wives and significant others are invited to the tours and to the Christmas meeting.

The weekly programs offer something for everyone. Speakers range from local business and community leaders, city leaders, healthcare professionals, educators, charities, and a wide variety of other speakers.   Members are encouraged to suggest future topics.

The club welcomes all men ages 55 and older.
